On 22 January 2026, the Ukrainian Consultation Centre in Düsseldorf held an information webinar for Ukrainian military personnel in cooperation with Ukrainian lawyer Serhii Burdynskyi and Förderkreis der ukrainischen Veteranen NRW e.V.
The webinar focused on the remote Military Medical Commission procedure for Ukrainian military personnel undergoing treatment abroad. Its purpose was to give participants a clearer understanding of the process, explain the main legal and practical aspects, and address questions based on real situations faced during treatment and rehabilitation outside Ukraine.
The discussion covered key topics, including medical documentation, submission procedures, suspended payments, treatment outside hospital settings, and other practical difficulties Ukrainian military personnel may face while going through this process abroad.
