On June 15, the UCC Berlin held an open meeting with the representatives of the consular service and the Office of the Ukrainian Ombudsman at the Ukrainian Unity Hub in Berlin.

The large number of participants once again confirmed that such meetings are extremely important and highly valued by the Ukrainian community. The discussion focused on consular and legal issues, the protection of citizens’ rights, opportunities to receive assistance, and ways to engage with government institutions.

Special thanks go to our speakers — Mykola Sobko, Advisor on Consular Affairs, and Andrii Ilin, Advisor to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in Germany. Their openness to dialogue and comprehensive answers made this meeting truly valuable for all participants.

Meetings like these strengthen trust, provide access to up-to-date information, and help people feel supported.

The Ukrainian Consultation Center will continue working to create such platforms for dialogue, support, and the exchange of important information.
