With the support of INCO Academy, Prometheus is launching a new cohort of the “Pathway to Work in the EU” programme for Ukrainians living in Germany and Poland.

The programme will help participants identify their strengths, adapt their previous professional experience to the requirements of the EU labour market, and prepare for a job search aligned with their career goals.

According to data from the previous cohort, 42% of participants were working in jobs unrelated to their qualifications, while for 84%, finding or changing a job was among their most important current priorities.

What does the programme offer?

The training will run for 6 weeks, from 15 October to 30 November 2026.

Participants will:

  • assess their existing skills;
  • develop a personalised professional development pathway;
  • learn how to better adapt their previous experience to the requirements of the EU labour market;
  • receive support from career counsellors;
  • develop relevant skills for working in an international environment;
  • receive guidance and support with preparing for and searching for a job.

After the training period, career support will continue until February 2027.

Who is the programme for?

The programme is designed for Ukrainians who:

  • have been living in Germany or Poland for more than 4 months;
  • have a higher education degree;
  • have German or Polish language skills at B1+ level, or English at B1 level;
  • are confident using digital tools;
  • want to find a job that matches their experience or are planning to change their current job in the near future.
